Arrow Manga and Anime

I've been thinking about reading the Yu Yu Hakusho manga. Before I do though, how is it compared to the anime? Does it continue past where the anime ended, or end the same way.

I dunno, but I don't see how it can continue past that, seeing how yusuke gave up working with the spirit realm. Where else can it go? Besides, the anime and manga have basically been the exact same, so I can't see it going past that

The two are about exactly the same with YuYu Hakusho.

Actually, there is a slight difference. I dunno, but I saw some Japanese RAWS of the manga a long time ago. It wasn't on the internet, it was one of the tankoubon (volumes) that my friend from high school (first year, which is a long time ago for me) had bought. I couldn't understand a word they were saying, but by the timeline, it seemed to be after the Unification Tournament.

There was something about Reikai (Spirit World) suddenly getting hostaged, and the gang (Yusuke, Hiei, Kuwabara, Kurama) team up one last time to save it. It wasn't a really long arc, it just seemed like a finale. Then there was something about Enma Daioh actually being a corrupt person, and Koenma exposed that. So now, Koenma is the new ruler of Reikai (?) Again, I'm not too sure because I don't understand Japanese very well.

There was also another story about Hiei's stay in Demon World with Mukuro. It was a bit confusing... but I think it tackled Mukuro's past or something. She was having bad dreams or so, and Hiei was making pointless comments. Dunno for sure, but Hiei ends up being badly beaten, later wakes up in Human World being taken care of by Kurama (dunno how that happened, but it's another yaoi fanservice). I think Kurama tells Hiei something about how fragile women's hearts are, etc., so Hiei returns to Mukuro with a bouquet... (but there's nothing pretty about the bouquet. it all looked like gross things to me...) and they patched things up. Anyway, it was really confusing... add to that I couldn't understand a word they were saying...

The beach scene in the anime was different in the manga. The entire gang (minus Hiei) went to the beach, and they were discussing about a few things. Yusuke was standing by the waves and Keiko came up from behind, jumped him and they both landed in the water. Then everyone starts playing in it... So, yeah, in the manga Yusuke and Keiko never kissed (aside from the one needed to resurrect Yusuke the first time)...

I think there was also an epilogue about the characters. It was so long ago (and I couldn't understand Japanese) so I'm not sure if I'm correct in this one. Kuwabara got into the university (probably Tokyo University?) and became a scholar(?). Shizuru continued being a beautician. Yusuke and Keiko (I'm not sure if they got married) opened a ramen shop together. Yukina is staying with the Kuwabara's. Kurama never went to college, instead he worked for his stepdad's business. Hiei remains in Demon World.

In one volume, there was also a sidestory called Two Shots. It tells how Hiei and Kurama met.
