Can only Request Once a Month

10 - 30 post = 1 Request
31 - 60 post = 2 Requests
61 - 100 post = 3 Requests
101 - 200 post = 4 Requests
201 - 400 post = 5 Requests
401 - 800 post = 6 Requests

The max is 6 manga for each member to request that is if the member has more than 400+ post....

Our Quota for each month is 20 manga only, so first come first serve.

Starts at February 1 2008

Question! Wouldn't that increase the amount of spam and the number of registrations? And are you sure you can keep track of all the people who have requested before and not requested before? I think you should make the no. of manga requests proportional to the number of posts, because if I wanted to request 6 mangas, I wouldn't wait for 401 posts, but create 6 accounts to post 10 posts each to request manga. I hope I won't get flamed for this >.<

[Edit]Also, I think there are some mangas that are more worth it to upload than others(popularity) and I think you should also consider how many uploads you have to make for the manga requested. What I mean is, you shouldn't really fix a quota. If a manga requested was only 2 chapters, you could consider opening another space for manga request. I think you should just do what you did before(closing thread). You should just decide on the spot which manga you want to upload and which you don 't. I don't think us leechers have any right to complain xD

Yes we know and talk about all the consequences of this rule in our own little forum....Increase the spam yes it will no doubt about it...This wasn't really the original plan but we couldn't get the admins to reply in our discussion so I just made this up since I'm basically the one incharge with the uploads.....anyways we can keep track of the people who requested before because i can detect their IP address without any problem at all and that solve multiple account making...adding to that they need to make 10 post for each account they have so if they will make 6 then they have to make 60 post which is i think a big hassle to do....Moreover, it's not like we don't have much manga to offer you guys...there's more than 700 series up and running here in the site so wherever you look you will bound to see something that you will like to read....

LIke I said when minizaka asked this same question way way way when the site first started, we will upload what the people want because that we think is the most important manga out there...To answer the quota problem, we got some life to attend to and it's not like we are always here in the site....there are only two mods uploading new series including me and i got tight schedule so i won't have much time do upload aswell...I set the quota to 20 no matter how many chapters/volumes it have because i'm not sure if we will be able to finish 30manga in a month(consider 30 manga with more than 30 volumes each) considering there's only two of us uploading....I will still decide which one to accept and which one to deny...it's not like once you request you will be guaranteed to get it....And Like i said in my reply above your post we will Increase the quota IF necessary.


We came to the conclusion that it's unfair for the old members with more post that they are following the rules of requesting only one manga at a time while the new members with only 1 post request more than 2-5 manga at a time....

Yes and Yes.....the ones that stays active more in forum gets more priveledge than those new members...right now that's all we can offer to the old and active members such as you charchar1.....But in the future we will think 0f something that will give the old members more power and more priority than the new ones...
