| Rogue Angel | Yes, we have all seen the gundam universe and all the flying mechas and beam cannons and lightsabers. But really... will we really see any of those in the future? Giant bodies of armor for a single pilot, turning him/her into a mechanized soldier that can take on an entire company of light infantry? I am aware of the fact that various nations are making "walkers" or "anthropoid robots" that help with trivial tasks like digging and plowing. But will we really really see automated battle machines that can survive in space and fly at 15215 mph? It would be fun though, but I doubt that mechas will ever be seriously developed in the future. Instead we will rely on starships and cruisers as seen in Star Wars and Star Trek. Does anyone disagree with me?

| imo, creating anything with one or few purpose as humanoid is unrealistic. Humans are great design as in terms of being able to do multiple tasks. Weapons on the other hand has only 1 task. It would be much more efficient to focus on what its for and design accordingly. Humans aren't hydro/aerodynamic either. Huge amount of resource spent on just standing up straight and barely walking alone defeats the purpose of creating one. |

| Gods I hope so. If that happens, I swear the first thing I'll do is move to said country, obtain a citizenship, and become a pilot. and if it happense hundreds of years later after I die, I'm gonna get reincarnated specifically to pilot one. |

| Before I answer I must say that I'm not too familiar with the series. I've only seen an episode or two like five years ago on Tunami. Frankly I think the idea of gigantic anthropomorphic machines duking it out in the sky is down right insane(but cool in theory). It's just too messy. What I do believe will happen is that long-range tactical fighting will see some serious advances. I could see us relying on bases hunreds miles away from the enemy, sipping mocha, and pressing buttons that eject bombs or some other futuristic killing device.

| The Pirate King | Well i believe that maybe they will be developed in the far far future but well if that happens i will be sure to reincarnate to pilot one but designing a robotech would be alot easier also the cost would be terrible so the only way we could do smth like that would be having smth like the United earth force for example which we dont not have![]() |
