Default cliche and predicable?

does anybody think that romance manga are GETTING or ARE really cliche and predicable? don't get me wrong! i really romance manga but after reading a few you actually predict the ending. most of the romance manga, the girl/guy (the main characters of the story) falls in luv with each other and live happy ever after. (i'm being sarcastic)

anyways, can anybody tell me some romance manga that involves childhood friends falling in luv with each other and that doesn't have that many chapter? please. (begging)
