hmm..well like when i think about asking for the next manga to read i get all overwhelmed you know?
i've only read a few titles and when i realize how much is out there i'm like "holy shit!" (-x

so lets see, i guess i'll just list the things i admire in a manga: good art style, exceptional and original storyline, dynamic characters, situational irony, and a little bit of supernatural or romance wouldn't hurt.

Hmm. Would anyone know of a good manga that has fantasy or adventure/action or historical in the genre and has non-wimpy female characters? And maybe a bit of romance?

I'm in the mood for it that sort of thing, I can't really remember what I've already read (there are soo many). So just throw ideas at me, it'll be appreciated.

@skinny; Hmmm. Try Ryouko no Shinrei Jikenbo by Shinohara Chie. Or any other of her works for that matter, I personally like the art and think her storylines are rather catching. I can't think of much else at the moment. Sorry.

HI...I was reading this manga a couple of days ago; but now I don't remember what's it's called:

The manga was about a girl (in 1800's japan) who had to take care of these children her older biological brother brings home. Well one day the littlest child gets sick and the girl has to take her into town to see a doctor. Unfortunately, being that they are so poor, no one would look at her. After breaking down a guy stops and give the girl money so the girl can buy the little child some medication. After she get's home she finds that her brother is packing his things and heads out the window right when a bill collector comes and tries to take all the children away. The girl, desperate for money, goes to the red light district and tries to sell herself for I think 1000 yen. At first no one would buy her(saying she cost too much) but then a rich boy buys her and says that she will become his bride under the condition that she can NOT fall in love with him.

I finshed like a chapter and a half before i forgot the title. One thing I do know is that it was made by Ueda Rinko(the mangaka who made tsuki no shippo); but when I looked under her name it wasn't there .

I need help sorry it is kind of vague

it was complete i know as much it basically started off revolved around one girl who likes this boy he rich and he has a friend that is really like his body guard. i remember he rides horses his was white and his body guard was black or vice versa. the thing with the horses was shooting arrows at targets while riding. well the girls childhood friend likes her but she chooses the other guy. the entire thing is comprimised of short stories about how each couple got together. all the couple are inter related in some way. another thing i remember was that the body gurad had a cousin who liked him she was called the princess of her family.

The picture next to the summary was off the two main characters with their horses one is a blond the other the bodyguard/friend has long black hair
i also remember that towards the end their was a chapter about a kendo contest to get the body guards girlfriend back because she was kidnapped as collateral so that the opposite school could win the tournament

It's about this girl that loves a guy but she was short on cash so she tried to sell herself on the streets and was picked by a hot guy.. when he took her to his apartment and was just kissing her someone comes in and interrupts them.. and for her shock it’s the guy she likes and he's his big brother…. I wanna carry on reading but I forgot the name of the manga…
