...eh, me too. Even though I prefer yuri, I haven't read any yuri mangas.

The only yuri (kinda) anime couple I know is sailor jupiter and sailor uranus.
Even then I wonder..

As you suggested, I started reading Maka-maka since I finished reading Love Hina. I dont like the character design of the two females =/...just saw the first like 10 pages and didnt wanna go further than that. The two ladies didnt appeal to me =/...might decide to read it since its only 20ish chapters though but for now, I gotta put it aside since its there faces looks *ugly*(sorry =/).

I'm up to chapter 4. I think their design is OK, compared to many manga-kas. Just its a lot worse than Ken Akamatsu and CLAMP. I think its probably because you've just finished Love Hina, ironbomb. Ken Akamatsu's art rocks

Have you tried Mahou Sensei Negima, Akamatsu's newest series? I know its not Yuri, but it is Ecchi

Well, I decided to give it another go since I felt bad that I judged it base solely on the art. Im trying to figure the moral of the story after the first volume but seems something to be able to freely express oneself.

Hmm not really. I just dont like the character design(face). There figures are realistic enough but I just dont like the way they look =/. As for love hina's art..I wasnt too fond of it but it is better than the art in Maka-Maka. Not really interested in Negima atm...trying to find another romance to suck myself into =X...there must be a twistful romance manga out there with good ecchi! lol...possibly smut as well xD.
