Simply put we've decided to block "mature" manga to minors, now I understand that quite a few people who have joined and have an account with "mature" access aren't actually able to view said mature manga, it has also occured to me that things like wiping your cache and cookies don't seem to rectify this problem. I'm currently waiting on word from manga.dreamer about this problem as he was the one who set up the site, the usergroups and the mature content restrictions so he should hopefully know what's going on.

We will look into this so please bear with us while the problem is fixed and refrain from endlessly complaining about it, all new threads pertaining to this topic will be closed and the thread creator warned.

I will also take this chance to warn everyone who is posting up what seem to be forms of indirect threats in the form of "if you don't do something about this then people will go to website <blah>", advertising other sites is against our rules. Along with this users attempting to change manga genre's in order to remove the "mature" genre and thus gain access to the manga will be banned. On a similar note people caught making duplicate accounts in order to gain access to mature manga will have their duplicate deleted and their primary banned.

I've just joined the mangafox community and I'm very happy as well as excited to become its member. I had just realized from a post that said that matured mangas are banned. Is that true because a few of my friends actually like this site a lot and were quite upset about this. (They actually informed me about this website and recomended me to check it out so I decided to sign up first) On behalf of them, is it possible to perhaps show some matured mangas. An example is Chain of pearls, Ren-ai Shijo Shugi(my friends favorite) basically keep Minami Kannans works there. I haven't really check them out but my friends had requested me saying that since I became a member at least could I ask the mangafox community to keep Minami Kannans works. This is what they had suggested. It's okay if the community doesn't agree to it but I just wanted to ask them to try.

If the people trying to read mature manga are over the age of 18 then they should have no problem.

I just realized that onemanga has done the same thing, except theirs is more of a warning rather than prohibiting underage members.
I agree with this too, so thanks to whoever came up with this idea.

I think it'd be better if you'd just put a warning on mature mangas or maybe give us the option to block mature mangas on our accounts or something.

I'm still not taking this problem that seriously as everything should work and the majority of people complaining about this have no more than 1 or 2 posts. Users with access simply need to login prior to viewing "mature" content. After logging in the chapters open below the warning message. Since I have cookies disabled, I have to log in each time I revisit the site. (the 3 seconds it takes does not soil the experience for me)

I've been using this site for my manga needs for about as long as I can remember, (but since i'm 40, that's about a month before things get foggy.)

technically you should not ban anyone with a duplicate account because no were in your rules for registration does it say that such accounts are band therefore while you do hold the right to meditate you however do not posses the right to ban account for duplications since that was not in the rule which we agreed to

Do you possibly think there is no ulterior motive for restricting access to mature content?
Just do what the Admins say, and dont try to sneak around the rules. If you're too young to read it, (and I assume you are, based on your spelling and grammatical inconsistincies) DON'T READ IT!
Also, just where exactly in the rules does it say you have the right to determine when the Admins amend their policies and/or guidelines?

The rules are guidelines for you, not the admins. They can do whatever the hell they want.

Also, DO NOT TRY TO MODIFY THE SERIES SO THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE a Mature GENRE IN IT.

From now on, I'll be editing this post with the names of users who do just that.
