 |  Help with PM ? Hullo, i have problems with my private messaging. I set the stuff in motion but it still won't work. Im pretty sure i can ask for help on this ? I read the terms. xD Help me with my uselessness ability!

| To PM a member, you can either 1. go to their user info page and click "send a private message" or 2. click on their name when viewing a thread where they've posted and choose "send a private message" from the drop-down menu. If you want to send a private message and are already in your control panel private message window, you just type their user id into the "to" field, type a subject, and enter your message, then click "submit". If you're just replying to a private message from there, you can click "reply with quote" and proceed similarly. If those don't answer your concern, you're going to have to explain in detail because I can't imagine any other permutations of sending private messages.

| Sorry about that.. Okay detail, detail... I ran into a few subjects where other members want to PM me, but they said they can't. I followed the steps in my control panel but it still won't work. .. Or is it just bad luck for me?

| Okay. That's better, lol. First off, have you tried this guide: User Control Panel Guide? Second, make sure in your control panel, you have enabled private messaging, and you haven't checked "Receive PM's only from buddies and moderators." Does that solve it now?

| You'll need this step of the Guide, which shows the box you need checked to enable private messaging (and the details of what boxes NOT to have checked, as Wifey provided above).
