Many shoujo fans are also yaoi fans, and the genre is made by women for women because male homosexual love appeals to a number of female readers. Gay porn made for men is an entirely different genre, which isn't even on here.

If you would like to see more shoujo, why don't you start contributing to the uploads? The uploading here is entirely determined by what members offer to upload and gracious moderators like Loki who search the web for all sorts of manga to upload. If they didn't do the work, there would be no shoujo here for you to read at all, so you should be grateful for the hundreds (thousands?) of series already posted. And I highly doubt you have exhausted all of the shoujo titles on this site.

I've just introduced two new shoujo series by the way, and have committed to the work of uploading the chapters of each as they are released. Check my signature for links to both.

Like Pezz has said its really u to the contibutors what they upload we used to get alot of shoujo but thats slowed down a little now its yaoi as its in demand alot of people really like it

most are too shy to ask for it... it will eventully slow down and then another genre will pick up...

if you want more josei try contacting a few of the contributors and asking if they could upload some even better if you know some josei titals let them know and where to get it or leave a link to baka-updates or the like and im sure they will be happy to upload it for you....

please remember contributors do not have to accept your request and they do spend alot of their free time contibuting to mangafox so if you do have a request please be polite and show some respect to them

Oh, mein gott.

The solution is simple. If you want more shoujo, upload it yourself, and hopefully the numbers will increase for that genre. Yaoi manga is uploaded by the fans of that genre, or simply because they have that manga anyway and wish to share it. Asking to take down a genre is impossible; what happens if someone comes along and asks to take down your favourite shoujo genre? You wouldn't like it if we complied with that, would you?

Different people have different preferences. If you don't like yaoi, ignore them when you bypass them. I am pretty sure that there are plenty of heterosexual, shoujo manga in our manga directory.
