|  ummm... i have no screen shot for that spam-memory ads yet ... because when the pic file went into my comp like crazy like that ... my comp always went bad - - but i often use the disk clean up.... i think i'll find 1 and take the screen shot soon... |

| bad ads (with pic)   1 of them i guess .... it appear after i read this page Manga Fox: Black Lagoon Vol.01 Ch.004: Rasta Blasta Pt.3 Online Manga Scans ...and then my iexplorer just stuck up cause some temp downloading things.... i think it's 1 of them ..... it took up my mem like 30MB (after 30-50 sec in that page) .... if u found it bad ads ... plz get rid of it ... it's real annoying... - -*

| Try this Tools > Privacy > Block pop-ups then For the security setting put it to Medium General > Delete Cookies, Delete Files and Clear History I'm using IE and Firefox at the same time but yet to encounter that problem.

| I have one question those banner ads arnt actully anything obscene or harmful and they arn't pop ups ads otherwise they would be in their own new window  so i dont see a problem there... but the download on the stautus bar i have no idea what that is for.....

| Why not just get firefox, as your main browser? Internet explorer has many loopholes that allows for ads, spyware, malware, etc.

| Use Firefox with noscript and adblock. Then you can be selective about what you want to see, and what you don't want to see. I actually have noscript block a few advertising companies (sorry mangafox, even though I support you, some ads are not worth seeing for me). Also, firefox isn't abuseable, and I can see your IE is currently being abused by something (probably not an ad) to download stuff. I say you need a decent firewall as well. Edit : At charchar1 Internet Explorer 7 was made to "fix" those issues, and it's still a terrible browser. Fun stuff! Last edited by emofruit : 06-17-2008 at 08:34 PM. |
