How bout a General Discussion? Like a place for General topics that do not fit into the categories of other forums.

Okay I'm dumb....It was pointed out to me kthanxbye
But what about

Even an extended Discussion would be a great idea.
For people who want to talk about all the other things on the forums thats great. But what about just general chatting that isn't spam?

Or some Serious Discussions? That way this forum will appeal to not only the teens but some of us older members, who want to do some real chatting not just flirting or playing games. We all like our games. Sometimes we just want to meet other people and chat.

What about a roleplayinggames section?

Most forums anime/manga/games/fantasy/anyandall forums have these now because it's like that main things people love that and the spam section.

Frankly, I liked the Serious Discussion part. Would that be like, debates?
However, for the roleplaying, I haven't seen a lot of roleplaying in the forums, so I don't think it deserves its own little section. For now, it should be placed in the SPAM section or if its about a manga, maybe in the Available Manga Series section.

I have been a forum loving person for years. (I hope i don't sound like i'm bragging. I don't mean to) And there is always a section. It don't have to be big but there is always one. It's nice to have one for people who just do a little bit like a few sentences, and a section for the people who are into it hard core. I mean I have been a part of many rpg's that each person would write like a pharagraph at least. It was like writing your own anime or manga with a group of friends. Pule you had a group of people coming up with their own ideas and spins to make the story that much better.

For sections in RPGs..and yes you do need them. (Other wise without rules and places it will just be a huge mess)

University/School RolePlay
A place to RolePlay on a campus setting...

The Neighborhood
A place for you to Role Play in a lifestyle setting. (families and friends)

Series-related/Miscellaneous Role Play
Role Plays and Entertainment (Anime/Manga/Book/TV/Videogame)

OOC (out of character)
A place to plan, recruit, and instruct others in regards to roleplaying. You also make your own thread of characters you role play as and can add pictures/ drawings of what they look like for refrence

Mind you For a place likt that Youl would need really good MODs Otherwise it would be a target for trolls, and spammers. saddly

as for the Serious Discussion part. It would be debates, as well as just intelligent talking.
People could discuss current affairs non anime/manga related. Their ideas and views. Not everything would be debates because some people just arn't into them.

Some examples

Discussion of everything political from your local to international government.

Talk about anything from the latest scientific discoveries to high school biology.

discuss ethics, morals, religions and their roles in society past, present, and future.

Discuss topics related to culture, sexuality, mental and physical health, and related issues.

I always see topics on
Sexuality/Gender Identity
teen sex
Abortion
gay marrage
iraq
love
Marijuana
life > children > babies
and
Lesbians
To name a few common topics

Nonono that wont work. Some people roleplay for months and the stories get really intense People write paragraphs per post. A lot of time effort and thought goes into it. That would be an Insult to their intelligence. Plus Many roleplays are not based on an anime or manga but thought up and worked on by the individual players.

It would bring a lot more people to the forum, i would think.

I'm liking the idea of the Roleplay forum. I used to be an avid RPer before but after I quit a certain site, I never really went back to it. So, maybe if MF decided to go along with this idea, I might go back to it. And MF also seems like the perfect place to have roleplays involving canon characters from anime/manga, along with OC.

AhuhAhuh. That's what I'm saying. I myself was really into Rpgs but I left a certain site as well and never got back into it. Because you can't really just jump in mid story. Plus its nice to know everyone and whats going on it the storys.
