| The only other thing i can think of as to why you are getting pop ups would be because of some spy wear or tracking cookies in you computer. You could have picked these up anywhere just surfing the internet (some sites servers get corrupted with these but as noone else has this problem i dont think mangafox has any problems) or downloading songs or movies from p2p programs. while your on the internet they will be active and bring up these pop ups every time you load a new page.... Solution get an anti virus and anti spywear program and run it!!! there are plenty of free anti virus/spywear programs such as AVG, you could also use a firewall if your not useing one already. if all else fails get your backup disc's and format your computer once done the first thing you should do is get an anti-virus/spiwear program!!!

| I'd say the problem is happening on your end. You don't have any form of protection while your on the web, which places you constantly in the 'red zone' to speak. There's various solutions to this problem.. 1.) You can change the your web browser settings... Firefox: 1. Goto 'Tools' -> 'Options' 2. Goto 'Content' tab, where it says 'Block pop-up windows' make a tick next to it. Use 'Exceptions' if you have any sites where you would want pop-up to occur. Where it says 'Load images automatically' make a tick next to it. Use 'Exceptions' on the sites you don't want the images to appear (ex: the offensive ads, etc.) 3. Goto 'Privacy' tab, where it says 'Accept cookies from site' make a tick next to it. Use 'Exceptions' if you have any sites where you wouldn't want cookies to be accepted (ex: the offensive sites, etc.) 4. Goto 'Security' tab, where it says 'Tell me if the site I'm visiting to is suspected of forgery' make a tick next to it. Underneath click on the option with 'Check using a downloaded listed of suspected sites.' Internet Explorer: 1. Goto 'Tools' -> 'Internet Options' 2. Goto 'Security' tab, where it says 'Allowed levels for this zone: ...' Where the '...' make it to 'Medium-high' 3. Goto 'Privacy' tab, where it says 'Select a setting for the Internet zones.' Gauge the meter to 'Medium-high' or 'High'. The 'Sites' button, shows you the option to allow or disallow sites from showing. Where it says 'Prevent most pop-up windows from appearing.' place a tick next to it. 4. Goto 'Content' tab, pick the settings you want on the various options. 2.) Install a firewall. There are various firewalls out on the web. Here's rating on subscription firewalls you can choose on the web... also don't let my personal picks hinder your common sense, choose what you feel like suits you best. Highly Recommended Nod32 - Virus Protection Software from ESET Panda - Antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, firewall. Protect yourself with Panda Security KAV - Antivirus Software: Kaspersky Lab - Protection Against Malware and Cybercrime Recommended Lavasoft - Ad-Aware @ Lavasoft - The Original Anti-Spyware Company - Lavasoft Not recommended Norton - Norton AntiVirus 2008-Norton Internet Security 2008-Norton 360 Mcafee - McAfeeŽ 3.) Install a more efficient web-browser. Firefox - Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable Opera - Opera browser: Home page 4.) Use web-browser's functions/add-ons to the fullest Well that's all I can think of at the current time. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'll try my best to help you. | First: as my first post has said, I do have a firewall, and spyware sweeper too. I use both all the itme. Second my problem was with redirects and inapproriate ads for underaged. I've been redirected to some kind of sales search engine, a dating page once, and some kind of perfume-masculine thing for men. At first, I thought it was because I clicked on ads as well. It's not the case, because sometimes I open one manga, switched back to another and came back to see myself staring at another site. Yes, the site admin can control the age-audience of the ads. Thanks mods, for looking into this. As for add-ons: I don't use'em cause I don't have a problem on any other site. And the ads don't really bother me that much. And thanks anyway, people who have posted solutions in attempt to remedy my problem. |

| I'm having the same problem with page-redirects, and I know it isn't an accident because whenever it happens I go back a few pages and try again a few times. Also, at least half of the ads that show up are completely inappropriate, and it's annoying, b/c just about every page has at least one. I'm on my mac btw. |

However, so far what you have been saying, it sounds more like you have a Trojan Virus some where on your computer.

| Rogue Angel | Besides Norton, I would suggest Windows Defender or Mcafee or A squared. Those take care of malware and prevent pop ups (If you added the option) And I also suggest using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
