Now for those of you who've never run a website, don't give me the "they can';t do anything it's not their ads" Oh yes they can. Just like they can remove sexualy explicit ads and pop-ups, webmasters can also keep us from getting SPYWARE. I know for a fact it's possible.

I am getting extremely frustrated with this site's spyware. Every single time after I read soemthing here, I have to run a spyware scan and remove the 5+ junk downloaded into my computer. And that's not talking about the annoying page-redirects. Like when you click to see another page of manga, and suddenly you find yoursefl staring at a "hook up with opposite gender" dating site or the porno based site I got kicked to last month.

This has been happening for a month or so, and now, I have generally started avoiding this site like the plague-who wa nts to have to clean thier computer after every visit?

Please make this leecher happy-try to reduce/eliminate spyware and redirecting ads.

i guess the webmaster can help prevent ads like those a bit more but i dont think mangafox puposely hosts such ads!!! ive never come across any such ads while reading manga so its strange. i hope your problem gets fixed soon.

I admit, the ads annoy me too. I haven't seen many pornographic/dating sites ads (if any at all) but the ads still get on my nerves while I'm waiting for a manga page to load.

well, I have a firewall that blocks all ads so I can't say that I have ads popping up everywhere

I dont have a fire wall at all but i have AVG anti virus and I've never once gotten a pop up ad while surfing on mangafox so im wondering why others would the only ads i get are the ones embedded on the page like these....

We don't have pop ups but probably they accidentally clicked one of those ads....I still haven't encountered any porn adds on the site but its better to check it anyway.

I've always believe that the ads on this site were rather inconspicious. I've hardly encountered any, at the most, just like the ones Koiya screenshotted.

Frankly, I have never had a problem with the ads because since I use Firefox, it allows me to just basically take out the ads embedded on the page, through some plug-ins like Adblock.

I don't think there are actually page re-directs from hitting next page. What's happened to me and what probably happened to you is after reading a page, you accidentally scrolled down too far and instead of clicking the manga page to go to the next chapter, you clicked an ad.

Just use your arrow keys when you can, it's faster.

There's also a possibility that you already have a pretty big security breach in your firewall, like a virus, that's automatically downloading unwanted material onto your computer without your consent. If your anti-spyware program is constantly finding spyware on your computer, you should probably run a full system check up or, worst case scenario, reinstall windows or format your hard drive.
